Now I wasnt sure exactly what thread to post this in so i chose this 1 in hopes that its the right one..Anyway..
Over the past yr or 2 I have been Slowly getting thing by thing until I had everything I need to build me a awesome fast reliable gamer quality pc.
Finally I made the beast rawr and I can guarentee U it is by far the fastest pc Ive ever used.

I decided to overclock as much as I could but with little knowlage, just research and trial and error until finally I got it to work stable under diff tests such as intel burn etc, but how do I know im getting the most out of my pc?
Perhaps I have a setting wrong and maybe im decreasing performance?Things like this I dont know for sure cause its all new to me..

Heres some of the hardware Thats in it.

Intel core2 Quad Q8300 - Default clocking 2500MHz. - Overclocked to 3450MHz. - I once had it all the way up to 3525MHz but it seemed unstable, according to battlefield P4F, so then had to downclock it...

Heres a detailed hardware report done by everest.
I reported this after overclocking it btw, these arent factory defaults.

Now 1 question Thats really bothering me is the Strap to northbridge, And i know its prolly not that important but things like this bug me when I cannot find an answer.

With my cpu clocked at 3450/460 fsb, how should I set my strap to north bridge? 333, 400 or auto....

I still am trying to understand how this works and I wanna make sure I get the most out of my pc!

Or any other suggestions for me would be awesome!!!!

You dont want your DDR2-800 going over 800 so set it to 333mhz, it will be overclocked a little FSB 460FSB *2= DDR 920MHz

Haha best tech support Ive ever seen, almost an instant reply!!

But thanks alot for that answer, I just couldnt find a specific answer by google lol, but atleast I found this site from google.
I just wanted to know if it would make things faster if i set it to 400 or slower etc, guess not.!!
Thanks for the help man!

Anything else I should change judging by the way I have things clocked?

haha just relized ur not even tech support, just a member!! lol still I trust ur word lol. its set to 333~!
