Painting a dreamcast

Originally I was attempting to make a similar comp to that of yoshi's box, but it just wouldn't work in my chieftec

So, I am now modding my dreamcast because lately this forum has had no real new mods. I plan to put a window, led's, etc.

But I have a problem: Color

Gloss Black or Chrome?

chrome,because there already is a black dreamcast .

yea, chrome will look sweet, but remember that "chrome" paint isnt chrome, its silver...

Send it off to get triple chrome plated!
Look in the yellow pages or ask around at automotive shops or motorcycle shops and they can hook you up with a chrome plater.

Heh, I did mine up with a CD-window, blue LED and gloss black...now I wanna see silver...

Alright, Silver it is ( well it says Chrome on the can )

right now I am going to cut out a window over the cd-rom---i just hope it doesn't screw up how it reads the discs.

I am going to have to wait on the window because I have no more cutting discs, but I was able to get a thin coat of silver on the top shell.

I'll post pictures later tonight or tomorrow
