That is kinda odd Rottys. I have both an Epox 8kha+(w/xp1900+) and a 8k5a3+(w/xp2200+). Both are sitting right next to my Soyo machine and I have had much better luck with overclocking the Soyo. And as far as memory scores you must have something configured wrong as any Kt400 board will beat a 266a board by a safe margin.

With ht 8KHA+ befor I killed it, was able to run 166 fsb no problem.

This Dragon plat will only do 144 fsb with everything relaxed, even with the cv up to 1.8 on H2o, Corsair XMS2700, much over that and it locks up, will go into windows tha run a lill while then lockup NO BSOD though :(

And even locks while running "TOAST" so not @ al stable.

$heet my Abit KT7-E is a 100 and will do 133.

I know it's not the CPU or the ram for they have both been up to 166 FSB, on this mobo any thing much over stock and it locks, and I jusr had the same CPU on the MSI mobo @ 1.6

If it does not get any better in a week, back she goes "DOA" and comp show, epox here I come back.

And only 1.8 cv, the 8ka3 goes up to 2.2 or 2.3 cv.

When I can get a mobo that will do 180's and up FSB and a CV over 1.85 for around $90.00, it sure beats this plat @ $150.00

And the most mem score was 2202, SAD :(

EDIT:

Seing this is my first Soyo what are all the settings you guys are running?

This is the Dragon Ultra Plat KT-333 with an XP1600+ AGOIA.

Gona try and change out the XP1600+'s between the Soyo and MSI.

No difference with the swap, I sure do like the Swiftech H20 2 screw hold down.

Now with them switched back, I noticed that the CPU: Dram Freq-100:100/133/166, the CPU-100 NO longer changes with changing the CPU Freq Select or CPR Ratio select, where's it did befor. lookzzz like DOA for me.

133x10.5 for now-1.4. lucky me, NOTTTttt.

Thanks Guysz!!

Now the BIOS setting 100:100/133 works when it wants to work, hmm, somtime 100:133 the 133:133 with changing nothing.

Even flasked to the 2AA2R2 BIOS and NO difference :(

And all this F@H time I am loosing with this rig [shake's head]

Don't have soyo kt333
But my KT400 lets me go as far air cooled can go?
highest (short time) 13.5X180 2,430 vcore1.850 DDR2.6 AGP 1.6 got hot toooo fast for air!

I also have iWill XP333-R 2100+@1933 (stock fan)
iWill kk400 locked pci/div:( 141fsb max

Yes when I had a Soyo kt333 I was a bit disappointed in the limited overclocking. That board is not a very good overclocker at all. It was a very stable board for me, but could not get the fsb above 145.

Now the Soyo kt400 on the other hand is a very good overclocker and still just as stable as the kt333. I have taken the fsb up to 180 and run it folding 24/7 at 170 with zero problems, but I also have a xp2700 that does not need alot of vcore.

I think for an all out overclocker the Epox 8k3a is one of the best out there.
