One more question:
I have seen some mentioning adding 10%-25% antifreeze for anti-corrosive benefit. Is this a good idea? Anything else I should add for corrosion or is that not an issue with distilled water?
 
no, antifreeze is for a mixed metals loop (copper and aluminum) or going below ambient.

the more you add to water the less effective it becomes at transferring heat.



all you need is distilled and a biocide, period.
