75 here, it looks pretty good at this res 1280 760, Monitor is a 19 inch Sony Trin, I cant remember the exact model off the top of my head (at work now)

I am at 1024x768 on my 17" CTX at 75Hz, it can't do any higher(its almost 7 years old) ....my little 15" on my other PC can do 85hz. (3 years old)

75 hz on a 17 inch monitor at 1152x864, and im almost gonna go to 1024x768 so i can run at 85, still thinking about it....

85 hz at 1280 x 1024 on a Princeton monitor. I can tell a difference if it is lower and it makes my eyes hurt.

I have a midqualitty video card a 8500LE with a crappy monitor and my resolution is 800x600 16bit @ 56hz

but I will buy my self a samsung 17' this week.

That's like european TV. 50hz! :)

It works for TV somehow, though.

Card: GeForce4 MX440 128MB
Monitor: Relisys 17" 100Hz @1024x768x32

Doesn't give me a headache as easily and looks sharp. Amazingly this is on a monitor I bought for $400 two years ago that I'd never heard of the brand before, guess I got lucky!

72 is as high as I can push my old Mitsubishi Diamond Plus.
85 on my IBM monitor, but that one has horrible picture (the P72 should never have been released)
