power cut and had to re do bios

hi chaps, had a power cut last night and had to re do date and oc setting in bios ,do i need a new bios battery, or any other ideas please ,many tnx

Yes, the battery is shot.

thats weird its only 18mths old, ave to search which one i need then, thanks mr.scott i,ve just looked thro the manual and dont tell me what battery i need, is it a 3v coin battery please

It's CR 2032.
No telling how long it sat before being used in your board. I've had dead one's right out of the package.

thank you just ordered new ones, so hopefully it will sort the problem. first time its happened, we have abt 30 power cuts a year. joys of living in the sticks .cheers Mr.Scott
