seriously... Dells are cheap because they are... as far as PC's go, they rank down there with Compaqs. That's why so many universities buy them... they are cheap... and even cheaper when you start buying by the bushel, but they wear out quick, and from my experience from working in my uni computer labs, have frequent HDD failures (the device just dies). Sager does make a great notebook (I used to lust for one when I was a PC user), as does HP (surprisingly) which is pretty tough and reliable.
