What about try a third app and see which it sides with, such as Real Temp, which is specifically made for Intel CPU's?

If I have to take a guess, I'd say the Hwinfo64 is accurate.

Ok, so how it look like in the third app:

Ok, thanks for info..
I am tring to reach 3.6 on b3 tonight..
3.4 seems stable for 1 hour of prime,,

Just pick one of the two programs that are accurate, and use one of them to watch your temps while pushing it.

Keep the cores about 5C under the Tmax from Intel.

A quick tip on Hwinfo64: right click to disable then hide all the unnecessary sensors, so that you can watch all that matters in one neat screen. Here's mine. Then set up Riva Tuner OSD to display some of the key parameters such as CPU and GPU temps in game.

Np. In my experience, Real Temp is the most accurate monitoring program for Intel CPU's. Hwinfo64 usually gets everything right too and integrates with Riva Tuner OSD perfectly.

Are the various motherboard manufacturer's overclocking/monitoring utilities
accurate?

I like the cat in the case pic. Is that a full tower case? Or mid tower cat?
Is the cat PCIe compatible?

It depends, some are and some aren't.

Nope, sorry. Its CAT6 compatible. :chair:

Better not use any of those manufacture CPU OC tools. Most are coded poorly and riddled with junk services and bloatware. Especially avoid the Asus AI Suite etc.

The cat is in a mid tower. She is PCI-e compatible but would take up all available slots. However, it's worth it since she's faster than quad SLI titans, especially after you overclock her with some nice catnip.
