R9 290X?

Is the R9 290x royal king edition by club 3D worth a r9 290 tri x edition and $40? and how is the cards preformance overall?

Just another fancy looking card with a fancy name and come with a fancy looking air cooler, underneath it all, it have the same chip at the other R9 290X card

The 290X is slightly better than the 290. That being said, the Sapphire Tri-X OC R9 290 is a SOLID card with a GREAT air cooler. I own 3 of them. Two are under water below and the 3rd is air cooled in my 3770k rig.

Also from Sapphire, there is the Vapor X 290, better cooler, chip and it overclocks like a beast.
