Not only explains the pricing, which has clearly been showing up on the product pages of our favorite retailers for the last couple of months, but might also explain why the supply of certain items, such as the Samsung low volt / low profile modules, has gone dry and are virtually impossible to find online.

no doubt! i had some low volt "green" ram in my cart that vanished by the time i was ready to check out.
found a 2x4GB samsung kit (MV-3V4G3D) at central computers out of Cali.
shipping was a bit expensive @ $9.12 to NJ but fast.

I was just looking at ram prices and was like what is going on? It's stupid. I'll never pay what they are asking now for ram. I'll wait until the winter and see if prices come back down. Not like I need any ram, I just like to keep a little stock.
