Hey guys.

I have been running my Phanteks Enthoo, for a few months now, everything seems to work fine, but im not happy with the setup.

http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=741804 <-- The build, so know what parts are used and so on.

Solid tubes have become the big rave, and i sure get it, and i want it.

At the same time, i am very unhappy about my universal blocks that sit on my GPU's.

The main issue is that the power section on the GPU's need cooling, so i have had to mount fans on the there, which im not all that happy about.

I have looked long and hard at this kit.

Has anyone tired this before, wondering if the DIY kit for the power section works or not?

The whole loop is setup with and running off 1x D5 pump, its running on max speed, but i often fear its not enough?

I would like any input on both these subjects, as i am confident that i may soon be rebulding the loop.

I do have a follow up question about solid tubes.

With EK connectors, i get the choice of 10/12mm and 12/16mm. My ques is that, the first number is inside diameter, and the second is outside diameter.

But with Bitspower, i dont have this option, what are the sizes bitspower offer?

i've seen similar to the HK core kit... very good looking, but terrible flow killers as they use 6mm OD / 4mm ID hoses.

When going that route, make sure it's the last component in the loop before hitting the res again. Consider including some flowmeters, because if it chokes the flow too much -even with the D5 on setting 5- you'll have to consider a dual loop system where the GPUs get their own dedicated pump/loop. And while, you can still share res & rads you 'll have to redesign the whole loop.

bitspower: mostly 12mm OD i think

As i understand it the small extra hoses to the mosfet cooling will be split part, so i doubt it would restrict the much.

That said, i have looked it over, and seems like it would be useless idea, as it would never work on my GPU's,

That said, i'd still like the gpu blocks, as im sick of the hose look i have going currently.

its doable to repurpose ram/mosfet blocks... but do you really want a spider on each GPU? :)

Full cover is of course the "cleanest", though i cant recall if there are full blocks for the Vapor saffies.
But i know of a guy who does custom blocks on demand, expect them to be *slightly* more expensive as a run-off-the-mill EK block :)

As you may have seen, i am running EK universal blocks at the moment, there are non, and there will never be full cover blocks for my Vapor-x 6gb Since they sold in such small numbers, theres just no reason, we may be about 10 people on earth wanting to watercool them, which i already am doing.

I ordered the simple non DIY kits now and a link block.

Once that's all in place, i'm going to start planning the next phase, solid tubing, but i have a lot to research on that front first.

I am going to stick with the single D5 for now.

What i do need, is fittings to tubes, for "going threw case walls", not clue what this is called in English.

bulkhead fittings/connectors... :)
probably Koolance territory

OR... http://www.plumbingsupply.com/ :) :)

PS: the guy who makes custom blocks is nateman_doo , dont know if he posts here, but he's on OCN & RRR :)

.

I will be fine with the new universal blocks, what annoys me is the look of the EK blocks, since i have 2, and they have to be connected up correctly and so on to work.

Making this move will clean up one part, then i just have the rest to go. Which I have big plans for.
