anyone know if a can use my reciept from a CPU i bought for another CPU?
in other words:
i bought a 2.4A from newegg.com about 6 months ago.
i sold that cpu already.
i bought another cpu from someone who never ocd it, and its died for no reason. this chip is also a 2.4A

anyone know?

Intel doesn't ask for POP. As long as the CPU isn't older than 3 years you will be fine.

If its over 3 years, than you will need to prove that you bought it in the last 3 years.

They will want the sSpec and serial number off the CPU, as well as the retial HSF that came with it.

Give them a call, they are good guys, even took care of a 3.0C for me that lost some pins.
