Can anyone recommend settings for C-Die kit? I can’t get XMP enabled speed stable in my system.

Ryzen 2600
Trident Z RGB 16gb 3600mhz
Strix B450-E

Did you update the motherboard bios to the latest version?

Are they in the proper slots (see manual)?

Yes, I'm on the latest bios.
And RAM are also in the A2 and B2 slots.
My old Trident Z 3200mhz use to work before but sold it since one stick lighting is defective. Now bought this 3600mhz kit but stuck on the base speed

Have you tried manually setting the timings and frequency of the RAM. I'm pretty sure I've read the 2600 IMC can't do DDR4-3600, so just enabling XMP isn't going to work. Can you post screen shots of the CPU, Memory, and SPD tabs in CPUZ for us? You should be able to manually set DDR4-3200 or maybe up to 3400.

Yes, I'm more than happy with 3200 or 3400.
Here are the SS, Im trying 2933 now, game on it and see if still shut down

...I'm just wondering if the board doesn't like it...

That said, try manually settings your timings and voltage to the DDR4 3600 (18-22-22 @ 1.35V and manually set the memory multiplier to 3200. If that works, try 3400.

You mean like this? I set 3200 and voltage to 1.35.
Or should I change also the DRAM timing control?

I manually enter the primary timings to 18-22-22-42-64 and leave others to auto. No luck, still shuts down when playing

Well the value is already in 1.1v but it's in auto. Didn't think that simply manual entering the value may resolve the problem. Gaming for about 15mins now and no shutdown. Will test more tomorrow. Thank you for all the help.

The SOC was @ 0.825v in your BIOS screenshot, so there's no telling what it's doing on Auto. :) That's why I thought to mention it.

The second Gen Ryzen was still quite finicky with RAM. It's not going to run at 3600 MHz and I'm with E_D they may never work properly at all. Was that a kit intended/compatible for AMD? You could try 3200 16-18-18 CMD1 all others at auto with 1.35V. Personally, I wouldn't spend too much time messing with them as they may always give you headaches. If you can, return them and get something a bit friendlier to your system.

Not 3600 but a stable above the base like 3200 or 3400 if possible. Am I doing right with your suggested timings? Sorry, Im new to this.

Ok, will try again tomorrow. Earlier I've ran memtest, thinking the issue might not be in the memory since I also encountered the issue atleast once with base frequency. Enabled XMP @ 3400 and all in auto. Got an error in test 8 and Ive read some article pointing the issue is related to SOC voltage so I test again with manual seeting the voltage to 1.1v and passed. I thought everything is ok now so I game on it but after few minutes playing, the game will crash/close, other is BSOD. So before, when I encounter the issue, PC will shutdown but now it will BSOD or game will close

You can try bumping the SOC voltage up to 1.2V and give it another try

Actually in auto the value is 1.2v and I just set it to manual 1.1v. Will try first the timings that youve suggested then that 1.2v SOC voltage
