Hey all.

I have a slightly annoying issue with my Sabertooth 990fx R2.

When I do a cold-boot, or a reboot from within windows, the system will pass post but sometimes hang at what looks like a flashing command prompt, or will show the TuF logo again where it is supposed to load the OS, and just sit.

All it takes is a hit of the reset switch to get it moving on the right track though, but I would rather not have this tiny hiccup going on.

Any ideas?

Forgot system info *i blame my philosophy class for rendering my brain into mush*

Usually when that happens to me it's a memory glitch.
Overclocking or not?
Memtest the ram.
Test the HDD also.

This system is just for classes, as my old system met an unfortunate end...So no real OCing. Have my cpu just running with turbo on, and memory i set to what their timings are supposed to be, as stated by Gskill.
Will let the board tweak and post results.

Also, likely going to work on my forums sig so my system info isn't just on my profile

I believe you can mark it solved in advanced mode under thread tools.

Edit your original post-go advanced and add the prefix -solved.
