First off, hi there! I've never built a computer before, but have always wanted to and now decided that I shall. My budget is slightly flexible, meaning my wife's mood, but it's somewhere around 600 though I've already spent part of that on a mobo and ram, and a V3 case. Here's what I have so far:

Mobo: http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6321553&CatId=5539

Ram: http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6613461&CatId=4534

Case: http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5520044&Sku=T925-3018

I am trying to buy all the items at my local CompUsa store, as you can see. Mainly so that I can take them back quickly if something goes wrong, and their in-store prices seem to be 5-10 dollars cheaper than what they say online.

Now, what I am wanting to do with this computer. I mainly play WoW, and would love to play it on max settings with at least 30fps. This is due to the fact that I'm on a laptop now and it's great, but somewhat limiting. I watch movies as well on it, mess around with photoshop, and will likely play other games as they come out.

For CPU's I thought about getting a phenomx3, doubt I will be OCing, and figured quad core may be overkill... So, my only real issues are a good CPU and a good GPU. For a GPU I'd say my budget is below 120, same with the CPU, or lower.

Sooooo... thoughts? Also, the mobo was 90 bucks, so I'm open to exchanging it for another of comparable price if anyone knows of a better.

I want to point out that the memory is listed as "online only". Really though, just pick any set of 4gb memory that is 1333mhz DDR3. Pick a name brand from G.skill, Corsair, Crucial, Patriot, whatever.

What is the TOTAL you want to spend on the entire thing? Limited prices by specific part isn't a good idea. Also do you need a hard drive and/or OS? Tell us what parts you are going to use and what the TOTAL budget for the rig.

After I buy the OS it will be around 700, but for the parts it's 600. The ram I already have, and the case and Mobo. So on those I've spent.. around 200, so let's say 400 for the rest. I know I can get a WD drive for around 60, and a PSU for 70 or so, my main concerns are the GPU and CPU
