I was able to run memory up to 2800+ on FX ... it doesn't change fact that above 2400 wasn't really stable and above 1866 performance gain was barely visible. Because of IMC and FX architecture, it's much better idea to keep it at 1866-2133 and try to tighten the timings to cover slow access time.
On Intel this memory should run at 2666, just matter of timings. I don't think that voltage past 1.7V will help much. Can try 11-13-13 or 11-14-13 as on these settings any IC that can make 2666 at least will boot.
