Is it worth buying a mSATA ssd for smart response on my gigabyte board? Is it faster? Any info would be awesome, my system currently boots in about 20 sec. Are there any other advantages to this technology?

Yes it is much faster than your disk drive. No it is not as fast as an actual SSD. Yes it is worth it if you have a small SSD laying around and an old SATA HDD (even SATA I)

For the normal user it may actually be better than an SSD boot and HDD storage as everything you use (up to 60GB) is cached.

Also this should be in the storage section not memory. Perhaps you should report your thread and ask to have it moved.
