Ran a test last night consisting of half an hour of Linx on cores 0-6 (WTH did a core 0 ever come from anyway?) with 3dMark Vantage looping on core 7 @ 1920x1080 with the 275GTX SLI for the same half an hour. Ambients temps of 23c. 3 Slipststream 1600rpm fans on each one push and one pull.

CPU cores reached 67, 67, 65, 65 (4.0 @ 1.23) idle at 35
GPU's both maxed at 42, idle 33
GPU Memory both maxed at 35, idle 26

Could I get better temps running separate loops, probably. Does one loop satisfactorily cool all components, without getting into the air/water temp delta...absolutely. My real world use could never generate that much heat.
