What is this behavior caused by, Its most noticeable after I expand my Bookmarks as per image below

Then Bookmarks close but leaves its image behind...

This left behind image goes away if I drag any open window over it. I have been very cautions to avoid this setting/tweak. I cant figure it out. Any ideas are great, thanks.
Solved: I just now found the fix, its cause by having Desktop Window Manager Session Manager (dwm.exe) Disabled in Services. I hope this will help others, fill free to put search terms... I don't know where to start.
