so i was thinking of getting a new sound card (Using onboard) for this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3756954&Sku=S302-2046

Would like to know of any potential combatibility issues with sennheiser headset, and which is better for gaming.

My two options are:

or

Are these two any good? or am i way off?

First off, excellent choice for the headset. Really a top notch gaming headset.
Of those two sound cards, I'd go for the Auzentech. It's a much, much higher quality card (especially for music). The Creative XtremeGamer does a lot of things at a software level and is only marginally better than onboard sound.
Hope that helps and enjoy the nice cans ;)

After posting this i was thinking of getting the creative just because it looks better for Video Games, software emulation for surround sound, which is a big thing for me.

But i'll have to take a step back and examine the Auzentech now. Because connector wise, i need the two 3.5mm jacks for the sound card, stereo and mic, so i'll need to find a different auzentech card.
