Stock intel fan mods?

i know that stock pentium 4 fans arnt the best around, but i know they change speeds because of temperature, is there anyway to mod it to make the fan go faster? do they use some sore of thermistor to get the temp values? and could u change it out with one with a differnt value or just by pass it to make the fan faster? and please dont say just buy a new fan, just wondering if u can mod the stock intel fan thanks!

You can over volt the fan but thats kinda messy. Get yourself a better fan. You'll appreciate that you did.
