The 3 computers in my sig are on my local network, the laptop and HTPC run Win7 and the server runs Win10, the server is a new build

I am having a problem mapping drives and seeing the server from my HTPC

Server...sees both HTPC and laptop and can map drives on both
Laptop...sees both HTPC and server and can map drives on both
HTPC...only sees laptop and can map drives, cant see server to map drives

For some reason I cant get my HTPC to see the new server on the network and as far as I can tell the network settings are the same as the laptop that sees the server just fine

Any ideas why the HTPC cant see the server when the server can see it?

Can you ping the server from the HTPC?

Are there some odd antivirus issues?

Are you using static IPs? Not sure if there's something weird that can go on here.

Ethernet or wireless?
