temp probe location and other thing

So I got a zalman z9 plus case and it has a temp. display on the front io plate and I'm not sure where to place the probe. Also it has a fan controller on it and what fan(s) would best to use it with (front, rear, top(2 fans)).

Northbridge may be a good idea for temp monitoring, don't know what to tell you on fans.
