I just upgraded to the 5 GHz AMD FX-9590 processor. I have included a screen shot of the speed and temperature of my set up. This processor requires a water block. Even with a water block the temperature shoots up to 65 degrees Celsius really fast under load conditions.

Cool.

Its a 220W chip, so that makes complete sense to use water.

What does your waterloop look like? As in, how much radiator do you have when cooling 220W worth at stock speeds? 48C idle seems pretty warm to me. ANd a properly radded loop should keep that thing below 65C on load (that is really the max temp).
