I love it, the thing runs like a champ. I scavenged parts out of my old computer for the new one so my GF and i can both be running but it was fairly inexpensive to get two seperate computers running from ordering a couple new parts and using what i had on hand. Now i just need to customize hers so its "Her Machine". Anyone upgrading from an older machine and wondering if they should get this,IMHO i would so go for it. I have two different monitors pluged in but it looks weird with Eyefinity so ill just get another monitor later. But im super excited about it

I have a AMD A10 5800k I purchased last week along with the full computer rig.
What can I say, this boy overheats A LOT without the proper cooling (stock cooler ain't good) 65°C + when running in turbo mode (BIOS SETUP) at heavy loads.
With "proper" cooling I've been able to keep the heat "at bay", around 52~57°C at heavy loads when playing video games (CPU @ 4.3 Ghz/GPU @ 1013 Mhz). 28~35°C while idle. Coolermaster Gemini II with the stock thermal paste. I'd love to had it working at lower temps, maybe getting a better thermal paste will help.
The overall performance so far is quite decent. Gaming, video encoding, design apps.
I'm quite satisfied with the APU, since I don't play a lot and it saved me the expenses of getting a Dedicated GPU (I can live with the mid/mid-high graphics settings.), just had to buy some high speed ram kit, Corsair Vengeance 8 gbs @1866Mhz.

^ The stock cooling is pretty week, to say the least.
The TIM on your new cooler may take a little time before you see lower temps.
Haven't tried it - but the IGP may be 3d able, If you have a 3d Blu-ray & 3d tv. With a 6670, this platform plays 3d very well.

The fairly potent integrated gpu ensures it will put out plenty of heat in video intense apps.

Oh, yeah, BTW. Does anyone knows how to increase the speed of the NB in the Motherboard? Mine is running @1800Mhz, but I know it's posible to tweak it to 2100Mhz.
My MB is and ASUS F2A85-M LE. For what I know, doing so I can get a little more extra juice from the APU.
And, is the dual graphics stuff worth the shot? any real increase in performance while gaming?

Well after getting all of my watercooling system installed and dropping my idle and max gaming temps in half. I have started to the process of overclocking the CPU and the GPU, any tips would be much apreciated

Yup! It would get PLENTY hot with the OE cooler. As soon as the box was opened, the cooling,.... I had better stuff on the old "T" bird, remember the pencil trick???

Robert, these chips will run all day @ 4.2 with little to no effort with a minimal water cooler - H50, H60. You just need to set it up in the bios which is pretty self explanatory. There are 4 of these in the office 1 with an H80, 1 with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106189& 1 ( experiment ) with http://www.xigmatek.com/product.php?productid=23#.UT5HtPjD9hE - it works well in http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112316 - it has very good ventilation. For all the closed loop systems the radiator sits in the case & you need good ventilation. All run @ 4.2 & They are all pretty quiet:)
