I think the previous deal with the 3 games is worth it.

3 games is quite expensive

Games can be pricey, that's a fact.

Really though, they're two very comparable deals - neither is a bad choice .

In the long term, the potential for better-utilized crossfire on the ASUS mobo MAY have more value than a few games and a slightly faster CPU in the meantime if that becomes the sensible upgrade path in the indeterminate future. It's unpredictable and certainly subjective to a degree.
