Will a thermalright nb-1 fit on my abit IS7 (it has the stock seperate heatsink and fan, not the stock integrated one) and is this a good choice for upgrading my northbridge cooling? I don't want to spend $30 on the swiftech, so is this the next best thing ($12 at svc)

edit: I suppose I mean will the holes for attaching it line up?
 
ok, since your new here I will give you a freebie, it will fit, and in the future please go to the thermalright website, they have a great compatibility list there. The compatibility may depend on the size of your heatsink, what heastink do you have??
 
i have an sp-94, and it looks to me like it will fit, but i can't be certain, it'll be tight, i know that.

right now on the nb i have this hsf:
 
heatpipes are down toward the nb with fins running parallel to the nb

heres a picture, forgive the quality, i was on the wrong photo setting, but it should give you any idea as to the spacing:
