Just curious gaming wise would this be a decent upgrade. I just seen they are $89 at microcenter with a free board.

I'm running a 560 x2 be (the other two cores were no good when i unlocked them) oc'ed to 4.1 ghz.

I was also looking at the hex core and the FX 4100 is also at 89 dollars now. But i heard the 4100 is slower and i heard the hex would be worthless.

I'm a gamer basicly left 4 dead 2, cs go, dead island few other games mainly source.

Just wondering if it would be worth the upgrade or am I better off waiting.

965 BE and hope it is a BE version at about 4.0Ghz is certainly more powerful than the two core. Some newer games will utilize 4 cores. That would be a boost.
