Forget the nexus, you want low temps, so leave the fan @ 12v and use this:

Hmmm...My nexus Panel is actually running nicely. I had to mod my 92mm Tornado when I had it. It's a bit of work, and wasn't worth it for me. I had to change fans. Even at 5V, the Tornado was still too loud. You can make your own rheostat, but make sure you make something that can insulate the heat from the knob. I've heard opf self-made ones being very hot.

I am probably gonna make my own but its gonna be similar to that frozenCPU one. Thanks for all the help.
