its a long story if you want to hear it .

read it only if you want to hear a story . i will maybe not live 2 more years as i am having
strong paralyze seizures , since the past 2 years they think its Parkinson but we are not
sure what it is .
i used to run ultra marathons 2 years ago now i am as strong as a 75 yo man .
i am 43 yo . maybe this upgrade is just an illusion as i may be having throes .
among other hallucinations as you see i was trying to do this upgrade since
2012

look at the date of this thread as i was asking if i needed to change the HDD
before that time at 2010 i remember running a 50 kilometer ultra marathon easily .
at that time i started having panic disorder and went to mental clinic , it was strange
like the Emily rose movie

i came over it and went back to running , i remember doing about 400 high
bar at one day :salute:
then cairo changed to a war zone

oooops no that last pic is from a video game
but btw that first pic was in the street where the pc shops is so i could have
went there and bought an ozzie :salute:

lots of people died and suffered ,
as i am Syrian living in Egypt few months later a strange phenomenon started in my home country

yes its not fallout 3 guys .

https://www.google.com.eg/search?hl...#hl=en&q=fallout+3++rubbles&tbm=isch&imgdii=_

i think many of you have been in that game .
all my family died , all my love ones  the world just stood there
watching . no one tried to help us .
all this happened to me in 3 years . i found this book in my dusty shefls

i had it all my life i never tried to read it but withing it i found all the answers ,
but i kept getting weaker until this day . my story goes on .

look at all the threads i made on pc upgrade some got locked

and there is more , i have the money in the box . but i dunno what seems to be wrong ? who am i ? why am telling you this ? am i really dying ?
or god has put me in Isthmus or limbo world ? :comp:

so the 12 +2 power phase of the asus z87 pro is better or the 8 +2 plus the NexFET MOSFETs of the maximums hero is better ?

difference between the two is so small it isnt going to matter. unless your going to be pushing the limits with phase/dice or some extreme cooling. a 8+2 is more then enough to push the cpu to the max on air/water. also consider intels cpus have IVR so the number of phases on the board is just a selling point to get you to buy.

Really doesn't matter, IVR or not, until you start doing some serious overclocking. By serious overclocking, I mean benching, and by benching I mean pushing things to their absolute limits with a damn the torpedoes approach.

Even with IVR the motherboard power delivery makes a difference, the IVR can't put out a nice smooth voltage if the input is garbage.
The trick is, it doesn't take a set number of phases to make a good clean voltage.

Well since i dont own a updated i yet, i was told that phases dont matter cause of IVR. i still stick with my added about phases with oc'ing even if it has one. as your talking about clean power, we all know that phases dont control the power they are given. they share the electrical load of suppling the cpu with power. clean power starts at the psu, but if you have a 2/4 phase board. You cant really expect to push a quad/quad+ht to their limits on air/water. even with them using newer chokes that can supply more current per each one.

you and i, are on the same page. i just posted that cause i didnt want someone else to come along and go "YOUR WRONG, agian"(pretty much). there are other factors then number of phases for stable oc's, wont cover them now. phases does play a role and i have my rule of thumb about that.

The motherboard power bits can clean up dirty power somewhat, and in the process of dropping 12v to 2v (or whatever you have your IVR input set at) will deliver something between somewhat-cleaner-than-the-12v power and an absolute disaster :D
More phases makes it easier to deliver clean power to the CPU, it doesn't mean that a bazillion phase motherboard is guaranteed to produce clean power by any means, but it's more likely to than a 4 phase board.
Not that it generally matters until you're doing srsbsns overclocking anyway.

So yeah, we are agreeing for the most part :D

yes but the maximums hero is more pretty than the asus z87 pro ?

thing is i like the asus pro series as i owned the p5q pro for 5 years now lol i would like to
go on with it , but the shop has the maximums hero for same price now . and am gonna
buy a gaming case . the mc trooper .
its just they told me the dont have the hero now and i must wait until they import new stock . i dunno about waiting for it . or go buy the pro .

I too enjoyed my P5Q Pro. It shares absolutely nothing but a "I'm better than the base model" tag with the Z-anything pro. The crackup was that the P5Q had more features than the P5Q Pro.
