also getting a ASUS M5A97 EVO AM3+ AMD 970 and an AMD PHENOM 2 x4 for my upgrade. Just want the best bang for my buck in the $35.00 price range. any help would be great thx

Will it fit in my case? Its 8 inches across but I have a side fan...

You can mount the fan to the outside of the window if it interferes with the heatsink. I have done this with an Antec 1040 style case myself for clearance issues. It's not too ghetto looking if you do it right. You might have to cut a little slot in the plexi to feed the wire through, but it's no biggie to do.

How much overclocking and stuff will you he doing with it? The stock heatsink and fan is also pretty good could save yourself some money and hassle but if it were me I would go for the 212
