Windows 10 Pro or buy Win 7 + Free Upgrade

So I just bought a i7 6700k from Microcenter and without thinking I also impulse purchased Win 10 Pro as my OS for my new build... I guess I assumed that the free upgrade to 10 had expired. Yet after further research I saw that it goes until July 29th ? So I'm sorta wondering is Win 10 Pro worth it for 100$ or should I just get Win 7 Home for 30-40$ and upgrade to Win 10 Home while I have the chance? I may use some of the features offered through Pro, like Bitlocker + Remote Desktop but definitely not all of them. Thoughts?

Depends if the copies of 7 you're citing prices for are legitimate copies...

A quick google search for "Windows 7 Home" returns some with 32$-40$-70$-90$ ? I want a legitimate copy, what should it cost?

It's not "what should it cost", it's "am I buying from a licensed Microsoft distributor".
