Has anyone ever had problems with hibernation or sleep from windows 7. Since installing windows 7 on my new build, everytime I try hibernating or sleep modes, it's shuts down then within 2-3 seconds restarts again? I have tried lots of things including switching off hardware activation to wake up pc, third party software.

Anyone have any solutions or ideas? I am wondering if this has something to do with my motherboard settings?

I would start by unplugging any USB devices on the system, except for the keyboard, and see if it goes to sleep. If that doesn't work, I'd try a PS/2 keyboard or another USB one. If that doesn't work, I'd reset the CMOS to see if I setting I changed was preventing it from sleeping.
