Hello
I am new here.
I have a problem with my motherboard is a WinFast 6150K8MA-8EKRS.
I am running a Dual core AMD 64 Athlon CPU with a Radeon HD 4670 and 2 gigs of G Skill DDR 400 PC-3200. I want o be able to run 4 gigs in that computer but I cannot because the motherboard lowers the MHZ of the memory and does not let it run at its full potential. What are the setting I can change on the bios to run 4gigs of ram. I forgot to say I am running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit edition. The motherboard I had before was a Asus A8AE-LE.

Thank you

:welcome:

Are you trying to add two more sticks of the same memory to the computer to make the 4GB?

You may not be able to over-ride it but you can try setting command rate to 2T instead of 1T. Then try to set DDR 400. Better make sure the ram voltage is set to the max recommended as well.

Hello
I just have one more question to ask.
Why is the memory running at 200MHZ when it can be run at 400MHZ?

The ram is DDR you multiply it by two

It is running properly.
