Planning on running a 2.6C at 3GHz+ will this CPU do the job on a P4C800 dlx and Corsair XMS PC3200 memory?

the 2.6C should go past 3 easily on default vcore, it should probally do 3.25 on default as well, that would be 250FSB..

as long as you got good memory and cooling, it should go pretty high..

My 2.6C does 3459mhz set @ 1.65 in bios. Actual is 1.62 idle and about 1.61 under load. This is 24 hours prime 95 stable HT enabled on an Abit IC7. Running this with Mushkin cas2 pc3200 with the 5:4 divider. 266fsbx13=3459.1mhz. Memory @ 426Mhz 2-2-2-7. You will have no worries reaching 3Ghz.:D

Hey, what if it is a 2.4C with corsair pc3500 on a P4C800. Will it be able to do 250fsb (12x250=3000mhz) on default Vcore? What you all think? anyone tried?

Iam at 3450/265 FSB 1.525v using 5:4 with my 2.6C : L310A611

(not bad but definitly going for more)
