hello, im interested in buying a new cpu, probally a xp 1800, not sure yet. but one thing i know is i want it to stay cool. what i need to know is what heatsink can i use with this fan...http://www.heatsinkstore.com/powcool8031.html that uses 3 prongs to connect to the motherboard. i have a soltelk drv5. the reason i need it to use 3 is because my current on is somewhat chipped and i dont want to risk the heatsink falling off.

If you haven’t bought the fan yet you may think about the split plugs on some higher end fans the rpms connect to the mobo and the power connects to a molex (I think the Vantec Tornado 80x80x38mm Case Fan is one) this would let you have a more powerful fan (better cooling) with your choice of heat sinks
