Hey all - i installed the seti CLC instead of he normal one on 4 systems these systems are

P4 2.4a @ 124FSb - 2.99ghz / 1g Pc3200 2.5 /3/3/8 - 453.89 mflops

P4 2.4b (dell) / 512 pc1066 rambus - 452.95 Mflops

P4 2.4b @ 141FSB 2.54ghz / 512 pc3200 2.5 /2/2/6 - 436.07 Mflops

AMD 2000+XP stock / 512 pc3200 / 2.5 /3/3/8 - 390.51 Mflops

Now on the Dell and the 2.99 system i have killed all process and start up process except seti - on the toher 2 they are web servers so need some things running.

When i first installed it on the dell it was running in the 800 - 1000+ Mflops - that is until i rebooted it then it dropped.

What is it so depended on that they are all running around the same - should they not be somewhat different by a larger margin in processing?

at these all 3 system will pop out a WU in 2 /12 hours

Any thoughts?

the dell and 2.9 are going to get formated soon and the 2.5 will as well as it is screwing up :( darn IIS snap-ins! never work!

now adn then one system may spike up to like 700 or even 1000 for a mnin but then abck down...

Anyone?

how can i increase my Mflop if i can by tweaking anything?

^^^^

so why is it then a AMD 1800+ with pc2100 puts out the same WU as a 2.4 @ 2.9 with pc3200 and tight ram timings?

that is what has me :(

i dont see an amd 1800+ with 2100DDR ram in ur post above in which u were comparing the cpus. Also it doesnt sound right about an 1800+ spitting out WUs in 2 1/2 hrs which is at stock speeds. My 1700+ @ 2300mhz and 200FSB pumps out WUs between 1:50 and 2:25 ish.
