I'd say so. I love my PAL 8045, although it can be a bit of a PITA to apply/remove if the offsets start spinning.

I hear you on that. I love mine too. I once heard of someone gluing the offsets, any ideas about that?

I haven't seen test results for the 7+ against the 8045 when the same/equivalent fan is used. However, the 8045 usually only scores a few degrees behind the SLK's and MCX's, when the same fan is used.

I would imagine it would smack down a 7+ when tested with fans of the same noise level! I could be wrong, but my buddies 7+ has NOTHING on my PAL 8045.
