Hello,

I posed on this forum a while back and I have a ASUS A8V Deluxe and it was recommended I get this memory

CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

However newegg deactivated this memory...

any suggestions on what else I could use?

I'm going from 1.5 gig to 2 gig replacing my 2 256k memory sticks

Than you,

Erik

So you're currently running 4 memory sticks (2x512MB and 2x256MB) without a problem? You just want to replace the 2x256MB modules with 2x512MB modules? Your best bet is probably just to get a set that matches your original 2x512MB kit that you have installed. If you can't find a matching kit, then quite honestly any 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) 2x512MB will be fine. It's doubtful you'll be able to overclock the memory much with 4 modules installed anyway, so I'd just recommend some cheaper stuff from Corsair, GSkill, OCZ, etc.
