Best Price/GB HDD (sata >=250) as of Sept 2

Hello all, I am in the market for some bigger HDD's (>=250) and made a spreadsheet that shows the best deals

I just wanted to share it with you

umm Great deal Thideras, I linked that drive to you , even though i got that from SD :Shrugs:

just the thing is that drive is sata1 and it might be fast per/gb but then again it might be a slow drive. I dont mind paying extra for 20 dollars more.

This just goes to show you how fast hardware prices change... When I purchased my RAID5 drives a month or so ago, the 500gb drives were the best value.

Of course, that 400gb drive is unusually cheap, so...

your best to get the Seagate 410AS 250gb one, its almost as fast as a raptor and no where near the cost.
