Hi all... I'm going to order some new ram.. aiming for 1gig for my p4c800
Right now I have my eyes set on SYSTEM Mushkin DDR PC-3500 Level II Dual Pack 2-2-2 @ newegg for $286 http://www.newegg.com/app/ListProduct.asp?DEPA=1&submit=Go&description=mushkins&searchdepa=1&page=2
whats weird is on that link above is the pc3200's are $315 and the pc3500's are $286, both 2-2-2.... so I should go for the pc35oo's right?
My other question is should I get 4x256 sticks of the Mushkin DDR PC-3500 Level II = 1 gig
or
2x512 Mushkin DDR PC-3500 Level II = 1 gig
I heard rumors that 4 sticks of 256 running in dual is better and faster than running 2 sticks of 512 in dual.... any truth to this? Anyone out there actually document this stuff?
