case temp vs chipset temp

My chipset is 7-10c above case temp at idle, 20c above when playing games is this, at least the idle temp, normal?

What temps is it? ANd What motherboard? Does it have a passive heatsink on it? As long as it's not causing instability, it's probably ok.

i would say its pretty normal check out my temps in my sig...

my mb temp stays constant

i wouldn't worry about it
