OK, really need some advice on this.........I've got a Lite-on 48x burner. When i burn a CD, data verification is failing quite often. I've got a low 5 volt rail( 4.75). My 12 volt is dead on. Does anyone know if the laser isn't getting enough juice????? Really need some help here......

Doubt it, I Burned my DVD-R media and my +5 rating is at 4.8 and after data verification it still perfect. I use Nero to Burn.

Stick with name brand media.

Sounds like your media isn't quite up to snuff. Stick w/ brand names like TDK and Memorex (is it live?
