Does anyone know if it is possible to change the XP processor to an on-die FSB of 100MHZ, by default, by cutting and connecting the bridges??
By that I mean that if an XP 1700 is running at 1463 and to get there it uses a multiplier of 11 and a FSB of 133.
Can this be changed to yeild 11 x 100??

What bridges?

ummmmmm, not sure why you would want to, but you can just change it in the BIOS. I know you asked about the bridges, theres a really good site with a little java applet that shows what all the bridges do. I dont know the address, but I'm sure someone will post it.

Found it.

but when you change it to 100 mhz fsb, none of the bridges change.... so I dont know how else it could be done. Why do you want to do this anyway?
