i been using the onboard sound on my gigabyte IHXP for awhile, it really is crummy, i tried 2 sound blaster live cards & a audigy mp3+..
once installed & working my IE wont load a page? it opens all i get is the white screen, no errors, my toolbar is fully functional i go to favorites try to navigate to another page same thing "white screen"

6 pci slots, top has a adaptec 39160 scsi controller bottom has a 3com 10/100 card thats it for pci slots

yep i turned off the onboard sound & moved the SB card up & down the available pci slots..
used win2k default drivers then tried full SB install same issue..

banging my head on this one, all 3 cards work fine in my kids puters?

any advice greatly appreciated..

Sounds like a driver issue. Try removing previous onboard sound drives by using the find function or try a fresh reformat.
