Hi,
For about the same price, I have a choice between

OCZ Gold DDR2-800
5-5-5-15
1.8V

and

Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800
4-4-4-12
2.2V

Which one should I get?

Will the 2.2V limit me in overclocking? (than OCZ's 1.8V)

Thanks

I am going to get a GA-EP35-DS3L, so I can supply 2.2V no problem.

Reviews seem to indicate that the Crucial is a lot more overclockable (~500mhz at 4-4-4 and 550mhz at 5-5-5, compared to OCZ ~450mhz at 5-5-5).

Since I am going to be overclocking a E6300 with a very low multiplier (7), FSB is very important for me.

I have crucial and they choke my system out. It basically depends on the compatibility of the specific ram with the system you have. If you are using a lower multiplier CPU, I'd say go for higher rated ram than ddr2 800 it'll give you higher OC headroom.

Thanks for the suggestions.

However, in Canada (where I live), DDR2-1000 costs somewhere around $110, and DDR2-800 (the two I mentioned) around $25 (after rebate), and I am on a tight budget, too (and stuck with my E6300).
