if you drop the quad pumped, double pumped part, it is very simple

is when you add those + multipliers for ram and such that i think %99 of us just give up and let out brains rest :d
 
I have an excel sheet that does all the calculations for all of the memory multipliers, FSB, and CPU multipliers with different ways to set your target...

It runs in Open Office too, if you dont use excel, or are afraid of macros.
 
If you used a 6700, the multiplier is 10, and makes everything so much easier...

10 * 266 = 2.66Ghz.

10 * 400 = 4Ghz.

But from what I've read, the 6700 will never hit 4Ghz on stock cooling..

Why is the 6600 so much more popular?
