Fan Bus - necessary?

Hey i got a bunch of case fans in my system, the noise can get annoying at certain times, and ive been reading up on fan buses

anyone spent the time to do it, and was it worth it?
i dont think my comp needs all this cooling ALL the time and when im watching tv i think i could turn off 2-3 fans

just wondering exactly how much work it is, and if it is worth it?

and anyone who has a link to a good HOW-TO install a fan bus Site, id appreciate it

There is a product that would do exactly what you are asking. The Digital Doc 5. It can control upto 8 fans and even support 120mm fans. Here is a review;

They are alittle pricey, but do the job.
