Fan controllers and LED fans

I want to buy a fan controller, but I don't know what would happen to my LED fans. Would the LEDs just get dim, flicker, or what?

well the leds will get dim and the fan will work at the same speed, maybe marginally reduced.

They will dim. If you go too low they will flicker. Go even lower and the LEDs won't turn on at all. Any lower and the fan stops completely.

Most LED Fans (With the exception of a few TT make) put out so little air I wouldn't think you would even want a fan controller for them.

My antecs put out a decent amount. I think 30 CFM or so a piece.
