....invest in a pyrometer. One with a laser is good.
Try using realtemp 2.5, that's what I currently have. It seems to work correctly. At least for me.

i used to have one, when i still have my nitro RC. i tried looking for it but cant find it, one of my friends proly took it, and forgot to return.

i'll go ahead and download and try RT 2.5
